A Highly Mobile Drilling Rig Capable of Working Efficiently in Extreme Arctic Conditions
DDI Rig 19’s design consists of fully integrated, lightweight modules that can drill on ten-foot wellhead spacing. The substructure module contains the mast assembly, rig floor equipment, 2000 hp. drawworks, pipe skate, secondary tubular storage and choke manifold assembly. The pipeshed module contains adequate heated storage area for drillpipe and casing. The mud pit module provides 1,165 barrels of mud tankage, centrifugal pumps, two 1600 hp. triplex mud pumps and solids control equipment. The support module consists of the power generation and rig-support utilities equipment.
The mast hoisting capacity is 1,000,000 lbs. with a twelve-line hook up, and the cantilevered drillfloor is capable of a simultaneous combined load of 600,000 lbs. for pipe set back, and 900,000 lbs. rotary table load.
